As candidates Kerry and Bush disagreed over stem cell research, Dawn was eager for a question about Food and Drug Administration approval for "Apligraf," a living bandage composed of human cells cultured from foreskins from human infants and collagen from cows. The
new product, says the FDA, "provides wound protection and fosters growth of healthy new skin." Too bad it first requires lopping off irreplaceable "healthy skin" from a howling infant....
