Three of the four rounds of sex in Steamy
Secrets take place in public sections of a bathhouse, but director Mark Ludwig shows no awareness that the baths' allure arises at least
partly from the open, exhibitionistic visibility of steamy activities. At this bathhouse, couples have as much privacy in the locker room or the showers as they do in private cubicles. No one
is around. Maybe patrons have fled because of all the uniformed cops patrolling corridors and lurking in cubicles; if they'd stuck around, they could have watched four bearish pairs
of models, some of whom play cops, have routine sex. In addition to uniforms, there's the usual South Beach Video complement of leather gear, dark glasses, and cigars.
