How to order
It's 1865. As the Civil War draws to a close, members of a all-black Union Army contingent (cousin to the 54th Massachusetts Regiment celebrated in the film
Glory), gather for a soirée. During the course of the evening,
a messenger appears to tell them that Lee has surrendered to Grant at Appomattox, and the war is over. Abraham Lincoln himself (pornstar Troy Steele in a beard and stovepipe hat) appears to congratulate the men on a job
well done.
Celebration is in order. In the world of Paul Baressi, that means lots of hot, aggressive sex. Paul Morgan, the only white sexual performer, plays a Confederate prisoner who loves servicing his black captors.
("It sure beats whistling Dixie.") Dennis Lincoln, Charles Cameron and Jason Kelley have an intense three-way in a barn. General Corey Cox, who lights up the screen whenever he appears, barely stops short of bursting
into flame as he fucks Morgan. Barresi gives himself an over-the-top cameo as a cigar-smoking dirtball officer given to sniffing a pair of souvenir panties from a Southern "girly-girl" who must have patronized some Rebel
branch of Victoria's Secret.
Not even Baressi has the nerve to show the Great Emancipator getting it on with jubilant black folk-- one of the rare opportunities to be outrageous that Barresi has been known to miss-- but
Black Brigade is defiantly and cheerfully non-p.c. It handles race with a mixture of insolence, humor and streetwise intelligence. This handsomely assembled video gives African-American talent like Corey Cox, Bobby Blake, Andre
Bolla, and Winston Love a chance to show that they're more than a collection of great bodies-- they're actors who can portray characters, read lines and play non-sexual scenes. In humanizing these first-rate performers,
Baressi makes their sexual exploits all the more remarkable.
