Dark-blond Eric York, in the regulation light gray sweatshirt and red come-fuck-me trunks of a Laguna Beach lifeguard, leaves the beach and follows a stairway up to a house overlooking the shore. There
he meets a California Highway Patrolman with a big cigar. What ensues is predictable, but could have been truly arousing if the sex weren't choppily edited and amateurishly shot, with heavy reliance on big, wobbly
close-ups. You lose the sense that two people are interacting-- it's a collision of meat.
A second episode, in which two lifeguards and two beach bunnies have sex amid piles of Fuji videocassette boxes in somebody's no-frills apartment, comes fleetingly to life as a four-man orgy before
the participants split into couples. Your interest may perk up as one of the lifeguards prepares to don a leprechaun-green condom to fuck one of the tricks. In the nick of time, through the magic of editing, he unrolls a clear
one instead. This choice meets with his partner's approval, and may meet with yours. Green-penis devotees will find this passage disappointing.
In this marginal offering there's little to suggest that producer/director Mark Ludwig or any of his crew knows how to make a video. The videography is wildly uneven; the audio is a disaster. The title on
the screen-- Laguna Beach Lifeguard, singular-- doesn't even match the title on the box. Brick House Entertainment bills this video as a "Rookies Studio" production; they're not kidding.
