A curious news item from Reuters reported that one of two rabbis accused of "molesting" a 15-year-old girl on a plane in route from Los Angeles to Sydney managed to escape any prison time in exchange
for 500 hours of community service and "counseling." His assistant, however, got 22 months in the slammer.
Dawn finds it hard to believe that the two clerics could do anything to the teen on a plane that would warrant such punishment, but as is usual with such news blurbs, readers are left wondering what
happened. A forcible rape? (Where and how?) Or playful pee-pee touching/showing? (More likely.) In any case, the item invites reformulation as a joke: Did you hear the one about the two rabbis and the shiksa jail bait who were
flying to Australia....?
