Wants More for Girls
Your is a good web page [www. guidemag.com] with a lot of in formation, but I have a complaint.
Nowhere is there any mention of bars/clubs for women. Sure, some of the places mentioned do cater to women on various nights of the week. But I would like to see more places mentioned that cater to
women more often.
Maybe your magazine is specifically for the male in gender, but being on the net it is accessible to everyone and maybe could be designed for everyone.
Just a few thoughts from a lesbian who thinks that there is never enough for women.

Thank you for your feedback. Market realities means that our advertising does primarily cater to men, but we do mention options for women when we can. Perhaps the Web will open up new
commercial opportunities that we will happily explore. Of course, our editorial message urging sexual liberation and abolition of deadening and destructive sexual attitudes is for everyone.
Who's Got the Stiffy?
I just happened to read the article "The Pedophilia of Everyday Life" [September 1996, also available at www.guidemag.com] written by Richard Mohr and have only one question: Did Mr. Mohr suffer a
severe head injury before he wrote this article?
It is apparent to myself that Mr. Mohr is nothing more than a covert pedophile attempting to alleviate guilt by making mass media into his personal scapegoat. If he can't read the business section of
the newspaper without getting a stiffy caused by an anti-drug ad, then he needs to confer with a therapist.

No one need feel "guilty" for pointing out that the same culture that crusades for prison-- or even death-- for those who express even mild sexual affection for kids, also uses children's sexuality to peddle
soap, sneakers, and corporate image posing as public service spots. Of course, those who reveal such rank hypocrisy subject themselves to derision from armchair psychologists who've not yet read the chapter on projection.
PS-- Having stiffies pop up upon viewing ephebic beauty should only confirm a well-functioning dick, not be cause to trouble a therapist; run from any therapist who suggests otherwise.

Web Suggestions
Hey Man! thanks for putting up my ad! Looking forward to lots of responses. Hate to be a nitpicker, but could I make a couple of suggestions to make the site even better?
Currently, when browsing the personals there's no way to know which ads contain a picture. How about a little icon (say, of a camera) beside those ads with a pic? How about a feature that locates ads placed
in the last 24 hours, seven days, 14 days etc. Currently, one would have to go through all the ads each time to try and find the new ones.
I've been reading The Guide for years and really think your site has the potential to be one of the best personals sites on the net. Thanks again.

Thanks for the suggestions; ads on the web with photos now sport a camera icon, and the browse feature scrolls through ads "freshest" first.
Confused in Italy
Please confirm me that if I want to answer to personal ads in your magazine, and I write to you from Italy, I don't need to enclose stamps to have my letter forwarded. Looks quite strange.

You got it right, Bruno-- those responding from the US or Canada need to enclose stamps (US or Canadian) for us to forward letters, but those responding from Mexico or overseas don't need to enclose
any stamps.
