How to order
Portuguese-speakers may understand the finer points of this unsubtitled potboiler from Brazil, but they're unlikely to be any more aroused by its tiger-boy theme than the rest of us. At a zoo, two young men read the text outside a Siberian tiger enclosure (though the
animal we're shown at the outset is a jaguar). Apparently turned on by the predator/prey dynamic, they slip off into the shrubbery for sex. After their encounter runs its unremarkable course, the cuter of the two starts reading to his friend from a book called
The Tiger. The friend dozes off, and dreams of being a weretiger, stalking sexual prey.
In orange-and-black striped war-paint, alas, this creature is as fearsome and steamy as Hobbes, the tiger of comic-strip fame. There are four sex scenes; two involve models trashed by tiger make-up. In the DVD edition, there's also a dull but mercifully cat-free
bonus loop. Director Léo Botelho never bothers to link names to faces, but the sandy-haired bottom with the incandescent smile who gets fucked in the first episode is probably Samuel Bueno. Another memorable model, the young man in the third segment who responds to
his partner's orgasm by talking softly and kissing the air, may be Ronaldo. Or may not.
