Just when it seemed that America had gotten so mellow that people could get away with wearing whatever they want, the tradition-bound sheriff's office fired a male corrections officer at Jacksonville Correctional Center in Florida for wearing what the Associated Press summarizes as "a woman's French cut swim suit, false breasts and heavy makeup." How petty.

Of all the swinish behavior that cops and guards routinely commit every day, being out of uniform must be the mildest; yet it cost this officer his job.

The AP does not explain how the officer-- 42-year-old William Harvey Smith-- could get his cock and balls into the rudimentary crotch of "a woman's French cut swim suit." The crotch of these suits is cut up to the fucking armpits.

But the question is now academic. Since his arrest, Smith has been surgically altered to become Belinda Joelle Smith; he has progressed from transvestite to transsexual.
