Wienerschnitzel on parade
By
Dawn Ivory
Like to watch naked male athletes doing a choreographed dance number evoking memories of Busby Berkeley? Really, who doesn't? Kudos, then, to the internet, which allows worldwide free viewing of the Austrian national rugby team's salute to Vilnius after a humiliating 48-0 loss to the Lithuanian team. As Austria's captain inexplicably leads teammates in an arousing rendition of "Singing in the Rain" on town steps at Gediminas Prospektas -- the main pedestrian street in the Lithuanian capital -- the losing squad peels off shirts, pants, and then underwear to the enthusiastic applause of those dining at nearby outdoor restaurant terraces. After gratuitous weenie wagging (particularly vigorously by the captain), the players re-don their outfits, and make for the airport before authorities get involved. To enjoy for yourself, visit
