Montreal by night, claims the opening voice-over, "has a thousand sexy stories to tell." You'd never know it from the evidence presented in
Postcards from Montreal, which can't quite manage four of them. Matthew Thomas, the most attractive member of the dim, starved-looking cast, schleps around town in a brief non-sexual role as "The Tourist," who never experiences any action first hand,
but keeps imagining what those couples he sees emerging from peep shows and burger joints will soon be up to.
