Eye don't think so
By Dawn Ivory

View our poll archive
Initially, Dawn was intrigued by Bravo's hit "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." God knows many straight men could benefit from going a little gay.

But the show has grown increasingly tiresome with its unrelenting emphasis on consumeristic crappola. Fabulous shoes are not the essence of gay identity, Dawn feels. Plus, having as "culture maven" a twinkie who believes "Gore Vidal" is a hair product is absurd. Indeed, Dawn would suggest the show hire Gore Vidal as cultural advisor. Other improvements could include specialists for anal sex, oral sex, outdoor sex, party sex, and Internet hook-ups. Why not give pussy-whipped, sex-starved straight guys what they want (and need!) most from gay culture?
