Dawn Ivory
Regular readers are aware of Dawn's appreciation of the verdict in the OJ Simpson case: prosecutors used illegally seized evidence ("we busted into his house at
4 am without a search warrant because we were afraid for his safety-- at the time, OJ wasn't a suspect," and similar bullshit excuses for warrantless searches)
and showcased lying cops who thought all "niggers" should be put in one place and bombed. The jury got it right-- it was the cops and prosecutors who blew it.
But that doesn't mean Dawn is a fan of OJ's. His remark that if he did kill Nicole, that would only prove how much he loved her, reveals how sickly he
conflates sexual possessiveness with love (and sadly, he has much company amongst romantic lovebirds, gay and straight...). And recently, OJ told the
London Weekly Standard that if President Clinton did "hit on a dog" like Paula Jones, he should be thrown in jail for 30 days. Again, the Juice has it wrong: broad sexual standards are a sign
of laudable virility; any put-down of them merely signals jejune insecurity on the part of the utterer.
