San Diego--Bisexuals, unite! Or at least, confer. Do it at the second annual North American Conference on Bisexuality, happening at the Radisson San Diego, August 21 to 24. "This
isn't just for bisexual activists and researchers," says Bisexual Resource Center co-founder, Robyn Ochs, whose very name embodies a kind of sexual ambivalence. "This conference is for
all people who wish to learn more about bisexuality and network and socialize with others who share common experience around their sexuality." Preceding the main conference will be the
first Bisexual Health Summit, August 21 and 22. Some 500 souls from the middle reaches of the Kinsey scale are expected to turn out. "We have great workshops and presenters, and
more bisexuals that you can shake a stick at," says Luigi Ferrer, director of the Bisexual Foundation, the conference sponsor. But please, in the safe space of the conference, stick-shaking
or tongue-lashing at bisexuals is highly improper.
