Dawn found a recent cover of the Human Rites Fund magazine
HRC Quarterly amusing. Splashed on the glossy was a photo of Bill "Sex Offender" Clinton and HRF's Elizabeth Birch with the headline
"A Night to Remember." The text is, Dawn supposes, a reference to the Fund's bigbucks dinner at which the President was gracious enough to accept community money (even as he stepped up military witch hunts and sought
to brand more of us "sex offenders" in need of lifelong government tracking).
Dawn, however, initially thought the promocopy to be a reference to the earlier Titanic movie by the same name (with Kenneth Moore) and thought perhaps the HRF had radically changed directions,
realizing that pinning hopes for sexual liberation on electoral political work was akin to waltzing as the great ship foundered.... Alas, no such insight was evident in the rag's analigual interior pages.
