How to order
Clean-cut undergraduates meet rough trade in this salvo from Paul Barresi's new Regiment Productions. At the opening, preppy young Kirk Kelley wanders over to the other side of the tracks in search of sex-for-hire, and
meets C.J. Long, a goateed homeboy in a blue bandana. ("Yo, man, you in the wrong neighborhood, eh?") Next, Marco Paris and Adrian Troy,
en route to English class, are nabbed by leathermen Kyle Richards and Tiger. ("You
college boys are comin' with us!") Finally, Cameron Sage, a scrappy blond hunk whose right biceps is engulfed in a USMC tattoo, intercepts Xavier, a Latino student. ("Hey, cupcake!")
This video launches a Bad Boys series; two sequels are already in release. It joins the grittier, more streetwise interests of writer/director Barresi to the territory he explored in his vanilla-accented
Adorable videos. The tension between types keeps this production's motor running at a steady hum. The second sequence begins oddly, with the leathermen showing more interest in each other than in their prey, but improves when Tiger pairs
off with Marco Paris, and Richards tangles with ginger-haired newcomer Adrian Troy. In the closing segment, ex-Marine Sage
(White Lies, Dig) reveals an edge and an acting ability he's never previously shown. But the best
sex scene is the pairing of Kelley and Long. Tiger, whose rising fame owes something to his weird tattooed stripes, receives top billing, but C.J. Long, who could have been plucked off the street, makes a stronger impression.
When this quietly menacing young man says he's done time for aggravated assault, you believe it.
