How to order
If it weren't for the packaging, Reload, John Rutherford's first production as head of the newly resuscitated Colt Studio, could have passed for an opus made during his tenure at Falcon.
In Hog: The Leather Files, director Rutherford moves closer to the grittier masculine image
defined by Rip Colt in the 1970s. Shot at two sex clubs-- LA's Faultline, San Francisco's Loading Dock-- this three-act, all-sex production outfits its 12-man cast with bits of leather and fetish gear and turns them loose. Superbly lit and shot, they're bathed in a kind of nighttime glamour.
The centerpiece here is an unevenly paced nine-man orgy. The continuity is flawed, but there are jolts of energy and heat, especially when lithe, blond bottom Derek Cameron receives the now-obligatory double penetration. The opening one-on-one session between Dave Angelo and
Ross Tyler, complete with boot worship and cigar smoke, may take the prize for hottest and kinkiest passage. But the final sequence, in which Toby O'Connor starts out groveling in a cage and ends up getting fucked in a sling by black demigod Adam Dexter, is a close runner-up.
