How to order
Settling in for an evening of carnal domestic bliss, Christoph Scharff slurps beer and masturbates while waiting for Sebastian Krafft, his slender, sensual boyfriend, to dispense with e-mail. Then Krafft says he's heading
off to a birthday gathering for somebody Scharff can't abide, and walks out. Peeved and bereft, Scharff breaks into his significant other's GayRomeo.com account and discovers an invitation to a private sex party.
The password for admittance is pure.
At the party site, Scharff enters a dark industrial maze full of men on the prowl. Krafft is already there, stripped to his briefs, crouched in a hallway where he sucks off everyone who passes through. Scharff,
meanwhile, wanders from room to room where, alternately serving as bottom or top, he experiences or witnesses a lot of edgy sex. Eventually, of course, he connects with his spouse, who by this time is being gang-fucked in a
sling. Joining the crowd, Scharff boinks the living tar out of Krafft. The pair is reunited so joyously that you may wonder how many times they've played this sex-club game before.
Jörg Andreas made Pure in Berlin two years ago; it's just been released in the US under the aegis of Raging Stallion Studios. It's a dense, uneven 95 minutes. A few promising bits are lost in murk, and some members of
the large, busy cast just appear in a snippet or two and are gone. As sex-club phantasmagoria go, however, this is a good one; its look will appeal to fans of piercings, tattoos, and skinhead grunge.
