Hem lines, tail fins, and codpieces...
Regarding your November 1999 article New Modesty [about Speedo-phobia amongst today's teens]: I remember when Speedos were as common as
now wearing your pants and shorts very low! I don't believe it has to do much with modesty as much as just times changing, all types of Speedos were seen during the 70s and early 80s.
But then shorts became the latest fad, the brighter the better, and of course now, the lower, the better-- with your boxers or briefs showing!
When I was younger I wore swim trunks. I never thought of them as "revealing." When you are a child you really don't think much about it. Now I see those Jammer long bike short
like Speedos: they are still revealing to a point (depends on the size of your package) but they are more accepted.

Bear Fans
I am a big bear who appreciated your May 2004 editorial Bear Power. There lots of men out there that love us and want us the way we are. Bear
power all the way!

We Bears have power. This week I showed my adult pics on my web site to a young man, 23, who showed up at my apartment-- a world class twink English boy: red hair, slim. His
immediate reaction was an erection which he came over to me to show. It's wrong to think everyone is only interested in those perfect centerfold males all buffed up with tight asses and big dicks.
Best to all Bears everywhere!

As a bear, I enjoyed your May 2004 editorial Bear Power!. I had the recent experience of having a friend 20 years younger than I tell me how I turned
him on 30 years ago and how when I emailed him a recent picture of me mostly nude he said the first thing he did was go to the bathroom and jack off.
And then the same thing happened with another young man.
This caused me to recall how as a young man I always wondered how older men got those wonderful stomachs. Years ago when I was barely legal, a sexy bellied man scrubbed my
back in our company's shower-- I started getting an erection that everyone thoroughly teased me about!
No, we don't have to be off the rack. Thank you for helping us bears have a better image of ourselves. Young slim men, think about what you really feel.

Prisoner Stats Wrong
I have written to inmates advertising in your magazine offering friendship and concern. I have discovered that many, though not all, of the ads are bogus. I had been corresponding with
one inmate for many months when I sent some financial help to him. I then checked him out on free inmate locator on the web and found out he was not who he claimed to be. His advert
stated he was a 22, Asian, soon to be released. In fact, I learned he was actually 40 and serving life for murder.
You might want to consider a warning to readers about writing to inmates and perhaps suggesting inmates should be checked out on free inmate locator before writing. Some
inmates seriously need a friend but others are only interested in scamming.

We have repeatedly noted that sending valuables or money to an unknown person, prisoner or not, carries some risk. If we reviewed the ages (and weights, and dick sizes, and
self-estimates of attractiveness) of our advertisers (again, prisoners or not), no doubt we'd discover some, uh, discrepancies.
Web snooping on prisoners is indeed easy because you have their real names for sure since prisons will not deliver mail to pseudonyms.
