This middle-drawer, military-themed outing lacks the kinkiness, passion, and narrative quirkiness of writer/director Paul Barresi's better efforts (Goodfellas/Badfellas, The Underboss), but the sex passes muster. In at least one instance, it's extremely hot. The framework involves some sort of training exercise; the video itself is an exercise in uniform fetishism. Six of the eight cast members wear fatigue outfits, or parts thereof, and bunny-cute blond Steve Hunter appears in a sailor suit. The lack of military gear and the absence of military-specific settings (except for a campsite) point to a draconian budget.

Sex takes place in front of a tent, in a decidedly non-military four-poster bed, in a middle-class living room, on lawn furniture, and on the ground. Barresi, who sometimes orchestrates group scenes with skill, bypasses a chance for an effective foursome at the beginning, when officer Jack Sanders sneaks up on a trio having sex in the woods, and-- when his video camera breaks down-- comes out of hiding and joins them. There's a promising round of cocksucking before Sanders pairs off with Sergio, a fortyish model with unfortunate streaks of camouflage paint across his face. Left to continue on their own, newcomer Steve Hunter and veteran Hawk McAllistar-- who, having filled out a bit, has never looked better-- repair to a bedroom where they entertain each other with gusto.

But the scene worth fast-forwarding toward occurs in the last 15 minutes, when Marine officer Matt Sizemore comes upon a deserted-looking campground and discovers young Latino Danny Lopez asleep. Sizemore leads Lopez into the woods, orders him to suck his cock, then fucks him. The episode is cleanly acted and convincing, and the sex is primal. In the final moments, Lopez comes while Sizemore's cock jabs deep inside his round, capacious ass. Barresi should make this pair a permanent part of his porno repertory troupe.
