London-- "The skimming light, even though intrusive, manages only partly to violate the unapproachable darkness. The nude bodies of the splendid models almost seem to be struggling to get out of
the darkness in which they are wrapped." Such is the purple prose inspired by Italian photographer Baly Hinter Wipflinger, whose exhibition of male nudes, "Out of the Darkness," runs July 20 to August 16 at Adonis Art
Gallery (1-B Coleherne Road, Earls Court, London; 171-460-3888). Wipflinger's images number around 60, each shot in black-and-white against black. Attending the Gay Games in Amsterdam? See the Wipflinger portfolio
at Galerie Barbara Farber-Rob Jurka (Singel 28) from August 1-8.
