Double standard
By Dawn Ivory

View our poll archive
The Boston Globe, that puritanical rag that has spent untold resources tracking down every Bay State priest who ever touched a teenager's thigh in the last five decades, recently ran a heart-warming piece about two brothers who were getting married-- one to a woman, the other to a man.

In the non-conforming nuptials article, the homo brother is revealed to have first had sex with a high school classmate when he was only 15. Now, to Dawn, this merely marks the youth as a late-bloomer, but Dawn was startled that The Globe did not brand the youth a tragic victim and demand police and prosecutors track down his "rapist." Or could it be that some young teen sex isn't rape...?
