When you think "Gay Arkansas," do you think "Eureka Springs"? The sponsors of Diversity Days hope so. This Ozark town is
abuzz as plans take shape for the fourth annual Diversity Celebration, April 9 to 11. Over at Metropolitan Community Church of the Living Spring, parishioners are
getting ready for the opening dance, slated for the Ozark Room at the Basin Park Hotel. Kite lovers around town are cluttering living rooms with multicolored paper, string,
and pots of glue in preparation for the "Go Fly a Kite" event at Pond Mountain Lodge. At the Unitarian Church over on Elk Street, space is now being cleared for a
display, "with great pride and respect," of 24 panels from the famous AIDS Quilt. There isn't enough space here to list all the exciting events the Eureka Springs
Diversity Cooperative has in store, but check out the official Diverse Celebration web site at www.shimaka.com/eureka/diversity, or call the Emerald Rainbow at 501-253-5445.
