Dallas-- Do you have HIV? Then welcome to the party! Ticket sales are "moving briskly," say sponsors of "Positively 2000," the "first national HIV party," set for Friday, May 5, at the Dallas Horticultural Center,
re-dubbed for the event "The Garden of Good and Evil" (let's hope more the former). The party is not just for a notorious virus-- it's for the folks living with it and their partners and friends, whatever their antibody status. "Many
people have attended huge parties where money is raised in the name of this disease, but this event is much different," says party spokesman Chris Leeds. "This isn't about raising money for HIV and AIDS. This is about raising
hope for those newly diagnosed and building new friendships among those who've been positive for years." For more info call 214-521-5124 or browse to www.geocities.com/good_and_evil_2000/positively2000.html. With
great events like this, soon everyone will want to get infected.
