Not the blowjobs Rep. Sally Kern fears most

Surely, if one were trying to parody an anti-gay ignoramus one could do no better than using as a model Oklahoma State Representative Sally Kern (R-Oklahoma City).
One of Sally's recent braindead diatribes to a group of supporters was recorded and made available to reporters. Included in Sally's observations: "Studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality has lasted more than, you know, a few decades. So it's the death knell of this country. I honestly think it's the biggest threat our nation has, even more than terrorism or Islam.... which I think is a big threat. Okay? 'Cause what's happening now is they are going after, in schools, two year olds... and this stuff is deadly, and it's spreading, and it will destroy our young people and it will destroy this nation." .)
Now, Dawn is pleased that Sally's remarks garnered widespread condemnation, including an on-air chastising phone call from Ellen DeGeneres, for such claptrap merits challenge, both as historical nonsense and hurtful propaganda.
But Dawn wishes that the context in which Sally paraded her bigotry were better publicized.
As Sally spouted off about how the homos were trying to sodomize America's toddlers, her Sooner State (sooner that what?) colleagues were taking legislative aim at Mexicans (and their swarthy-skinned cousins) by making it a crime to give a ride to "illegal" aliens. Indeed, it is now against the law in Oklahoma to educate or provide healthcare to anyone "suspected" of being undocumented. (Efforts to ban issuing birth certificates to infants with an "illegal" parent and to confiscate the property of anyone aiding "illegals" were referred to committee for later action.)
When the Catholic Church courageously vowed to disobey such inhumane and racist policies, Sally's comrade-in-bigotry Representative Randy Terrill (R-Moore) accused the clerics of only defending the basic human rights and dignity of poor workers because of the Church's avarice, suggesting that his is an old-style, nativist yahoodom, wherein anti-Catholic vitriol is added to the racist and anti-gay mix.<
