America On Line, the anti-gay cyber biz that inexplicably has millions of homo users, has admitted to using "web bugs" to monitor users' viewing habits and histories.
AOL urges subscribers to place an ad on their personal home page, telling users that each new client who comes to AOL by clicking thru on that ad will result in a $50 bonus for the home page owner.
What AOL does not tell users who place such ads is that they contain a "web bug" that collects and tracks users' web visits-- material valuable to marketers... and government snoops, with whom AOL has a history of
cozy cooperation.
