A Little Cramped But Still Shooting
By Ed Karvoski, Jr.

Growing up in a small English village, Jack Stuart wanted a job requiring a uniform. For a while he served in the Royal Air Force. Now, when he's not soldiering in the fight against AIDS, he's likely working in the buff with his hands on a different sort of throttle-- or perhaps up two butts at once.

Jack Stuart at a glance:

Date of birth: March 27, 1963
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 160 lbs.
Chest: 44"
Waist: 28"
Arms: 15"
Endowment: 7" cut ("Yes, an English guy who is cut!")

Where are you from originally?

I was born in Blackpool in the North of England, but at two weeks old my family moved to Cornwall in the South West of the country. We lived in a tiny village next to the coast, very quiet and rural.

What did you like and dislike about growing up there?

Growing up in Cornwall was a wonderful experience. The area was full of history, from the times of pirates, for instance. It's a beautiful place. I can honestly say there's nothing I disliked about growing up there.

How would you compare the guys there with guys you've met elsewhere?

I must admit that the guys in Cornwall are-- how can I say it without offending them-- more provincial than city ones. Guys in cities are more up-front about what they want. Although I have to say that there are a lot more bi, married guys in places like that. That's a major turn on for me.

Where do you currently live? What do you like and dislike about living there?

I live in South London and have been here for 15 years or so now. As with anywhere that you live for a long time, you become used to it and somewhat complacent. I love the history of London a lot. But as I get older, I'm beginning to dislike the pace of the place. London has a lot of energy, but I don't! The scene here has changed so much in the past few years, and not all for the better.

When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be in some sort of uniform when I grew up. (Hmmm, does that tell you something?!) After school I joined the Royal Air Force and was eventually kicked out for reasons that are now fairly obvious!

Do you currently work another job?

I just recently resigned from my position as co-director of Positive Nation, the leading European publication dealing with HIV/AIDS.

What was the wildest scene you've ever done in a video?

Well, that has to be Fist for Hire 2 (Hot House Productions). It was filmed in the Sling Club in San Francisco on a very hot Saturday afternoon. I hasten to add that I topped throughout that one. Let's just say that both my arms were put to good use at the same time. That scene was a real eye-opener for me! Three guys on a dumpster truck with Chris Ward and myself fisting each one in turn. Now there's something you don't get on a Saturday night here in London at all.

What was the funniest moment for you while shooting a video?

That was when doing my first video, The Easy Inn (Titan Media). I was about to come, with my legs in the air, and lo and behold, I got a bad cramp attack in my legs just as I was shooting.

Have you had a particularly exciting "sexcapade" in real life that would make a good scene in a video?

Yes, it was when I took an ex-boyfriend of mine down to Cornwall in England. At the very end is a place called Land's End, which is literally the end point of England. We made out on the furthest rock we could find, knowing that all the tourists at the top of the cliff could see us. It was such a hot and sunny day, which had our hormones bouncing around like you wouldn't believe. If a camera had captured that, it would have made for great viewing! Actually, with all the tourists there, I bet one or two cameras did capture it!

What's your favorite non-sexual thing to do on a date?

I actually like non-sexual dates: going to the movies, for dinner, ten-pin bowling. Just call me old-fashioned.
