Honey-blond Austin, who looks like a marzipan sculpture commissioned by Abercrombie and Fitch, is undergoing "repressed impulse" therapy at the hands of "brilliant psychologist" Nino Bacci. "I want a normal life," he moans. "These sexually depraved thoughts are unacceptable." But under hypnosis, Austin "recovers" the memory of being involved in a steamy all-male group encounter at a peepshow before some unexplained accident befuddled him out of his sexual identity.

This scenario, as concocted by model-turned-scenarist Doug Jeffries, is drop-dead silly, but it does provide a framework for some feisty sex, directed with razor-sharp authority by Chi Chi LaRue. A duo between Lane Fuller and Alex Wilcox is so good that it seems certain to upstage the inevitable scene between Austin and Bacci, but it doesn't. The best episode may be an unapologetically extraneous, gloriously lewd five-man romp in a back yard and pool; there's a classic moment here in which everyone takes turns hungrily rimming Dean Phoenix. James C. Stark's lustrous videography and Andrew Rosen's skilled editing enhance every scene.

Golden boy Lane Fuller, well cast as the man Austin remembers as the peepshow orgy's central attraction (a stand-in for Austin himself?), is in particularly good form here. When he stares directly into the camera as he comes up for air at the end of the peepshow gropefest, or as he sucks Alex Wilcox's cock, he seems to make hot, cruisy, deep-focus eye contact with the viewer. If someone has to fabricate a fantasy figure to lure himself back to his lost homosexual tendencies, Lane Fuller will certainly do.
