If you start to glaze over during the first ten seconds of
The Orgy, when Gage Michaels says to Steve Shannon, "So, you ready for the big game today?," you'll find little in the remaining sixty minutes to help you snap out
of it. Pornstar Sam Dixon has brought poise and presence to his recent appearances on screen, but here he stays behind the camera, where he has lots to learn.
The overlong opening credit montage gives away all the best moments and makes them seem hotter than they are in context. The action, set in a generic locker room with adjoining shower that looks left
over from Powertool 2, is glacial and flat. The potentially strong six-man cast just muddles along. Nino Bacci, who is almost completely wasted, enters the action late and then disappears for a stretch. At the end, Steve Shannon
is nowhere to be seen, but by then all but the most diehard viewers will have bailed out.
