How to order
This trifle by director Michael Zen is stylishly packaged, with a sometimes witty use of captions that advance or comment on the action. But there isn't much to it. Three competently assembled one-on-one sex loops serve
as hors d'oeuvres prior to the entrée, an encounter between Hollywood dealmaker Justin Wells and thief Nick Capra. All the action takes place at a flossy house in Palm Springs.
Booty Thief begins with Capra shining a flashlight on the sleeping Wells's bare butt, an object worthy of the spotlight. "I know who you are," says Wells, waking up. "You're the West Hollywood burglar they're always
talking about!" Capra has come to Palm Springs on a tip, hoping to steal some cash. Wells tries to distract and at the same time seduce the thief by recounting homoerotic anecdotes. It becomes a question of who is going to
take possession of whose booty, and what kind. Their eventual full-scale sex scene gets off to a good start, with Capra licking Wells's erect cock through a black satin sheet, but this trim, dark-haired pair has enough similarities
to make you wonder at times which is which.
