How to order
While mainstream media keep feeding gobbets of priest-sex news to drooling consumers, gay adult video fans are witnessing a rise in priest-themed erotica, most of it lousy, all of it bonkers. As ecclesiastical porn atrocities
go, Sins of the Father isn't as off-the-wall as
Confessions, Jean-Marc Prouveur's recent mishmash of Roman
Catholic boarding-school fantasies, but it has its own brand of dementia. Its attempts at blasphemous humor and sexual transgression could have used input from someone familiar with Catholic ritual, Catholic theology, Catholic
anything. But Chris Steele, who wrote the script (apparently with uncredited help from the shade of Edward D.
Wood, Jr.), makes up Catholic doctrine as he goes along, while Rafael, the director, seems to think rosaries are something Catholics wear around their necks.
But the sex is redemptive. As a priest whose carnal shenanigans have been reported to church authorities by his nosy housekeeper, Diego Alvarez tempers his trademark sexual zeal with a mild, goofy quality that somehow makes him more magnetic. Perhaps the only cleric in his parish with a pierced perineum, Father Alvarez
appears in two of the four sex scenes: a one-on-one session in a strangely roomy confessional, then a four-man romp in his bedroom. There's also a rectory three-way, and sexual rites a priest administers to a pair of horny, late-adolescent altar boys. Two segments offer ecstatic fuck-trains. The strongest cast members here are
well-endowed, uncircumcised, passionate Latins. Presumably, some of them grew up Catholic and might have offered technical advice.
