Dawn has read on the web that an "anti-rape" device created by a South-African woman is about to hit the market. The female condom-like device called Rapex, designed for vaginal insertion, has backward-facing fish-like
teeth designed to dig into any penis entering the protected canal.
The inventor claims that her vagina
dentata insert will give rape victims vital seconds to escape (as her attacker tends to his mauled member). Maybe. But who's going to wear such an undoubtedly uncomfortable
prophylactic with sufficient regularity to deter violence? Dawn suspects that inventor Sonnet Ehlers will enjoy brisker sales if the device crosses over to the fetish market.
