The fair's the thing

View our poll archive
San Francisco-- All's fair in love and war. Well, S&M isn't war-- just perhaps its closest representation within love's sphere. The fairest fair in the wide sphere of love may be the Folsom Street Fair-- San Francisco's largest-- with a focus on leather and fetish, and a big AIDS fund-raiser to boot. Check it out Sunday, September 30th on Folsom Street between 12th and 7th Streets in the SOMA district. There'll be countless fetish booths, rainbow paraphernalia, live performances, DJed dance areas, and (could this be America?) the swilling of beer on the street. Unimaginable numbers of homosexuals, bisexuals, swingers, and hets from the kink communities who come out of the dungeon and onto the street. What to wear to the fair? Harnesses, chaps, jockstraps, boots, leashes, drag, latex, nipple rings, cock rings, cuffs, chain, tight black leather-- or nothing at all. Check out www.folsomstreetfair.com.
