A recent news blurb from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation praised federal efforts to "protect" children using the Internet. The "solution" being saluted: requiring more parental permissions and
funneling more money to the feds to set up sting operations to entrap and prosecute those deemed to traffic in "child pornography" (which by legal definition doesn't have to involve children or nudity!).
GLAAD's pronouncement that "we're encouraged by the proposal to strengthen existing child pornography laws" (which already can mean life in prison for possessing the wrong type painting or sculpture
or computer-generated image) makes clear that GLAAD is a fully collaborationist group. Instead of standing up for justice, they prove their respectibility by throwing others to the wolves-- and thus earn not only a
despicable place in history but also Dawn's Assholes of the Month award.
