How to order
The young men are charming and the town is Prague, but the cheesiness of this production becomes an annoyance, and the story it seems to be telling (in unsubtitled Czech) goes nowhere slowly. En route to nowhere, there's some touristy location work along the Charles
Bridge and Kampa Island, and some middling sex. Most of the sex scenes take place at a sauna where the principals intersect. One of the leads is a slim, dark-blond model called "Jan" in
Young Men About Town, but known to viewers of other recent international releases--
Suite Service, for one-- as "Adam Kubrick." Another lead, who in some shots looks as otherworldly-perfect as an N.C. Wyeth evocation of Sir Galahad, is named Lubomir. Ondrej, the protagonist, spots Lubomir on the Charles Bridge, follows and loses him, meets him at the sauna, comes on to him
and gets rebuffed, eventually encounters him again, and so on. (Ondrej's name might in fact be Andrej: spelling has never ranked high among the porn world's priorities.) Appearing in four of the five sex scenes, Ondrej may be overexposed here, but he's engaging, with features that
hover between beauty and goofiness until they lock together in an incandescent grin.
