Opening titles promise "Real men telling stories about their really big dicks!" While all five models are accordingly well-endowed, they have more on their minds besides penis measurements. We hear Bam's high school locker room reminiscences; Ace Harden's stories of hustling in Portland; and Steve York's memories of boys' school ("I musta blew pretty much every guy there"). Semi-retired genital prodigy Rick Donovan describes the San Diego encounter with producer Dirk Yates that led to his meteoric porn career. Jordan Rivers ("I like my dick") recalls the pleasures of youthful masturbation contests.
Black-and-white interview segments alternate with elegantly shot, cleanly edited color footage of solo sex. Each model generates his own kind of heat. Donovan jerks off in a stylization of a bathroom stall with glory holes. Bam comes in squatting position, balancing himself on his toes. When Harden licks his own biceps, or touches his tongue to his reflection in the mirror he has just smeared with semen, he demonstrates just how sensual do-it-yourself sex can be. Rivers, whose rapport with the camera is warm and effortless, has a charismatically seductive presence. Viewers unfamiliar with his work will be disappointed when they rush out to rent other, perhaps hotter Jordan Rivers videos and learn that solos almost comprise his whole repertoire.
