How to order
Trudging down a country road, five Czech soldiers arrive at a hostel. A pair of blonde, wet-lipped wenches-- one with retro-Bardot hair, one with a mobcap, both laced up in trollopy period bodices-- greet the group with puckish smiles, usher them inside, and seat them at a table in a rustic dining room. Two more soldiers and two civilians show up and are seated at a second table. As the men eat, drink, and enter a happy testosterone high, they help themselves to the serving maids and one another. Dicks and tits come popping out. For a while, as the two groups cavort at their separate tables, it looks as though this may be the most successful of All Worlds Video's recent ventures into Europe. The cast, at least, appears to be having a good time.
Then it gets messy. You wait forever for the groups to merge; when they do, it's courtesy of a jump cut. The action turns choppy and chaotic, and the ambiance deflates. There's a certain mystery to this production; most of the appealing cast is unidentified, including El Greco, whose photograph is featured prominently on the box. The only two who receive screen credit are Andel and Pavel Dubcek. Andel has little to do, while Dubcek-- whose name is spelled Dupchek in the scant closing credits-- appears out of nowhere two-thirds of the way through. You wonder what backstage upheavals took their toll.
