How to order
In this four-part dose of jungle rot from Brazil, three city boys crash-land their light plane in the Amazon rain forest, where they fall prey to a horny gay Indian tribe. This situation sounds like a setup for comedy, but the humor it produces here seems unintended.
Under their beads, macaw feathers, handy adjustable loincloths, and Mardi Gras body paint, the restless natives look as much like urban disco puppies as their captives. (Only the striking Sergio Apingora, as their chief, looks as if he may have Indian ancestry.) Since
the hostages are already into tepid gay sex, and their captors aren't into anything terribly challenging, the tackiness of this production is exceeded only by its pointlessness.
