Wants Rex Chandler Info
I just finished reading your article on Rex Chandler ["Straight, But Not Narrow,"], I enjoyed it
very much. I respect Rex in what he has done,
and what he is now doing. I am a big fan of his and have obtained all the All Male Videos that he has per- formed it. It amazes me that he considers himself straight,
but I cannot judge him. All I can say is that I respect the man.
Is there any way to get a schedule of his performances, whether it be in a play, on or off Broadway, or public appearance? Is there a way to send him a note, or
to someone close to him to voice my sentiment? Anything that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the query. Mark at Boston's Movie Place reports that Rex is working as a personal trainer in southern California, does some escort work, actively
auditions for film and TV roles, and shoots stills for porn video promos; he knew of no current acting role, and we had no luck with a fan mail address, but letters to a
studio might be forwarded; brief web surfing yielded nothing more. To order Rex's videos you might check out: www.pornstarmall.com/rex_chandler/ or

Come Back to Oklahoma
It's been awhile since you have been to Oklahoma; Tulsa has a new country bar and new restaurant/club, and the old ones have changed and updated their looks. All
the clubs in Tulsa have web pages. Tulsa is also the home to the New Miss Gay America 2000 Miss Catia Lee Love and the home of the current Miss Gay Oklahoma
Kris Kohl. Catia would love to do an interview if she was asked. She moved to Tulsa from Houston I think about 5 or 6 years ago.
Oklahoma City still has its gay strip of clubs. Oklahoma is a great place to party and needs to be mentioned in your magazine and Tulsa needs to be included
on your web page in the travel section.

Church Chat
I am a third-generation San Franciscan and at 52 years of age, one "old guard" pioneer in the gay rights movement in this city. I want you to be aware that
Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco is probably the most diverse in America and clearly has the longest record of affirmation and acceptance for the LGBT community.
The first same-sex marriage performed at Glide occurred in the mid 1960s by Rev. Cecil Williams who is still Glide's Minister of Liberation. Glide is officially
part of the United Methodist denomination. There are currently more than 8,500 members of Glide and the include Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Straight
people of every race, color, ethnic background and religious belief. Glide is included in many major travel guides, including Fodor's. It should, clearly, be included in
your magazine. You can visit the Glide web site at www.glide. org

Steals Magazine, Finds Love
The first time I got hold of your magazine was in a bath house in Sydney, Australia. I didn't want to part with it, so I stuffed it inside my bag so I could bring it home.
It's very entertaining, yet so informative.
It's a shame that even if your magazine made it to my country, it wouldn't be displayed since our country is so conservative, and homosexuality is not yet
accepted here. What a pity! For The Guide could help educate Filipino people about gay society.
Having friends or perhaps a relationship is what I've dreamt of, and you have just paved the way to make it happen [through MaleBox
personals].
