Out for Blood
Regarding your bullshit editorial on Dr. Laura ["Dr. Laura's Right," May 2000]: Change the topic to "Jews are sinners because they killed Jesus," or "Nazis were right in hating/killing
Jews," or "Negro's look like apes and are barely as smart as monkeys," etc. None of the above would be tolerated without a widespread challenge from all levels of society and certainly blacks would be out for blood about the
last quote and Jews would be yelling about the first two.
Can you imagine a radio show or TV show with these discussion topics as supported premises as regular events? If you can, you are a fool (in my opinion). If you can't, then you are worse than a fool for
the position taken in this article.

Fan Therapy for Porn Stars
A few years ago when I heard of porn stars that I liked committing suicide or dying of drug overdoses, I decided to write fan mail to those stars I was enjoying at the time to encourage their work with positive appreciation.
I told them that their work made me feel really good and that sharing their beauty and passions are good public services. Perhaps if we made sure our fave stars knew we love them, they could go on
working longer than the average star does. Knowing they are appreciated may help them feel better about what they do. I also encouraged them not to overuse drugs or alcohol, so their lives and work could be healthy and safer, as
an example for their public.

Class Assignment: Our Jenny Jones Editorial
This was a tragic occurrence [Scott Amedure's murder, see "Jenny Jones Disaster," June 1999] which was not led by Jenny Jones but only by the sick minded killer. As for the crazy ruling
of the judge, well that is just unheard of, its like rewarding the murderers family for there son killing someone. Jenny has never made it a point to ridicule gay men or lesbians she has even encouraged them. Thanks for listening.

I feel that the family of Scott should not receive a dime because that just don't make sense. He had no right for killing his friend. Scott Amedure. Scott got embarrassed of course of the nature of the show yes. But that does
not give him the right to go to a person's (his friend's) house with a shockgun. Murdering his poor defenseless friend for several years.
Just that I am trying to say that a person does not have the right to go kill another human being just on what he said on the Jenny Jones Show. Now that the show is off the air. The show was a great four
star show. It's just entertainment for the younger generation. That's all it is. Now that the killing happened Jenny Jones is out of a job. The show should not have paid a dime to the family for just plain entertainment. That's
all have to say on this matter. I hope someone responds on this matter of justice. I feel justice did not prevail. Oh well that's how the cookie grumbles! See ya later!

I think that it was not right that they sued Jenny, she didn't really need to be sued for something stupid like that. I also think that the Jonathan guy should be held for his own actions and he should take the outcome of
his actions like a real man. He did what he had to do so he should be punished just like anyone else that would murder someone. He shouldn't blame it on the show. I say blame it on himself.

Regarding your editorial "Jenny Jones Disaster", I think that gay people have the right to express what ever feelings they may have. I also enjoyed watching the Jenny
Jones show and I don't think that they should have taken it off the TV. The guy that killed another guy because he told his real feelings for him needs to be put behind bars for the rest of his life because he took somebody's life. Bye

I don't think that it's right that Jenny Jones should be accused for that. It's not her fault that they wanted to come on her show and tell the world who he liked. Also the family shouldn't have been awarded anything for
that they just wanted money to make a big deal about nothing. It's amazing what people will do now a days for fame and money or just to be on TV. It makes me sick.

Who Made Gay People?
I think its wrong to be guy [sic]. God made it to be that men should like women, and women should like men. That is why God made Eve for Adam. Plus, it's just gross.
Liz Sebero

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. It's wonderful that Adam provided for rib-mate Eve, and that she helped keep the garden tidy for her master and their children; but where did everyone else come from?!
Your evident endorsement of procreative incest puts you closer to the sexual cutting edge than you might imagine....
Gypsy Wannabes
Whilst i do not hold with legislation such as Megans Law, I do think that the image of today's gypsy [see "The Gypsy Law,"
The Guide, March 1998] is much maligned by the bands
of tinkers and people who have chosen an "alternative" lifestyle. In England there are openly aggressive groups of "travelers" who do not want to be part of society yet want all the benefits. I have nothing against true
gypsy people who mind their own business and go about their life without bothering anyone else, but the sad fact is many of the wannabe gypsies do not. They leave a mess when they move on and intimidate the locals while
they are here. I do not think any gypsy proud of their heritage would condone this sort of behavior, and they (the true Romanys) are getting a bad press from the hangers on.

Guided to Hot Montreal Flesh
I was in Montreal on business the other week. While I was up there I went into your web site [www.guidemag.com] to find local places to go. I read your article on the stripper bars, so I decided to try them.
They're fantastic, wall to wall packed with some of the most gorgeous guys I have ever seen in my life. The go on stage usually wearing a costume or jeans and dance and strip until they are wearing nothing
but a smile. You can have a private dance in a secluded section of the club for $5 (Canadian) no touching, or for $10 you can touch any were except genitals. The guys are great they seem to enjoy themselves a great deal are
very friendly and quite passionate when doing a private dance. I would have to also admit that for $200, you can have a very complete and pleasurable private experience.
Well, I wanted to thank you for excellent work in reviewing and giving travel information. And since I'm going back to Montreal next week on business, I might just have to make a return trip to the
stripper clubs.

Image-Conscious Bisexual
As a bisexual male, I find your magazine's support for pederasty utterly revolting. Your brand of immoral radicalism is gladly dwindling away into oblivion.

Gay people (and even bisexuals!) often confuse conformity to prevailing sexual and social norms with morality [see "Gay Pride, Gay Morals," June 1999]. Rules about the gender,
age, number, marital status, or race of our sexual partners are arbitrary and often at odds with true moral concerns about honesty and compassion. That message is made all the more important given the prevailing
sexual McCarthyism.
Energetic Gay Boy Enjoys Masturbation and Travel
My name is Michael, and I am a 24 years young gay man from Portland, Oregon. I am taking this moment of my day to extend an e-hug and e-handshake for the great magazine you put together. I pick it up randomly and
am never disappointed by what I see and read. I loved the article about the masturbation poll ["Sex Solitaire," November 1998]; I never knew there were so many materials one can use
for personal pleasure!
Anyhoo, I have always wanted to travel to Europe, and I think your magazine inspires me to do so. I have finally planned a trip to London, Paris, and via Eurorail end up in Munich, Germany!
Because I am a gay male I have tremendous energy for partying and going out to clubs. I think it's just natural! On that note, I was hoping to be able to have you guys send me some information on bars
and dance clubs that are highly rated. I really don't want to end up at some club that I might have to drink too much just to cope! So, if you could help me out I would be a happy little gay boy. I am especially wanting to
know about Munich clubs. Thanks for everything you can do. Keeping the love alive
