Chicago-- Whether it's the tanned hides of calves, cows, sows, snakes, or lizards that wet your whistle-- wait, scratch the reptiles-- the United Nations of leather events comes to America's Second City this month.
"Mr. International Leather 2001" and a plethora of related activities run May 24 to 28 in Chicago, as they have since 1979, hosted by Chuck Renslow and associates. The nucleus of festivities will be the Palmer House Hotel,
where there'll be a bevy of leather-and-fetish vendors Friday through Monday starting at 11 am. The title event happens Sunday, May 27th at the Congress Theater. Don't forget the Physique and Bootblack competitions, and the
"IML Victory Celebration Party." A "Black and Blue Ball" wraps it up on Monday, May 28th at the Chicago Eagle. Browse to www.imrl.com for info and www.boxofficetickets.com for tickets.
