Rope in some fun at the rodeo
Kansas City-- Think "stall" and images of glory holes doubtless come to
mind-- throbbing, anonymous hard cocks pushing through, begging for attention, dripping in
anticipation. Why, you can almost taste....
Hold your horses! On the gay rodeo circuit, "stalls" have entirely other
connotations. At the
Show-Me State Rodeo, coming up September 2nd to 5th, stalls-- precisely for holding
horses-- are available for just $25 each, if reserved in advance ("Bedding will be
provided, and cleaning your own stalls is appreciated," say organizers, who add that
"feed or grain, however, will not be available.") Brought to you by the Missouri
Gay Rodeo Association, the Show-Me State Rodeo, now in its 12th year, is one of the jewels
in the gay-rodeo circuit. And
there isn't just steer riding, calf roping, and the riderless horse ceremony-- there're
breakfasts, dinners, dancing, drinks-- and the les-gay camaraderie possible only amidst the
contest of man and beast. "After the Dust Settles," goes MGRA's slogan,
"Legends Are Born and Champions
Are Crowned." It all happens just a dozen or so miles outside KC, at the Wyandotte
County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $12 at the gate. Did we mention that discount hotel suites
are available, as well as nearby camping? For more info, browse to www.mgra.us. Or
