Pride and Prejudice
I read your article about Oklahoma City. I'm very disappointed! I know there are problems, but no more than any other major city in
this country. There are plenty of good things about OKC. Why can't you people concentrate on those kinds of things instead of how many
gay people are here?
I'm amazed that you actually posted this on the Internet for the whole world to see. Shame on you! I'm very happy to live here, and I
don't appreciate this kind of disgrace to our home! I hope you get some kind of contentment from putting OKC down the way you did!

Goodness gracious, Kristen, Oklahoma City's large gay community is cause for civic pride, not shame. If you really want to improve
your hometown, perhaps you should consider moving....
Porn Editors "Often Overlooked"
Thanks for you review of South Beach
Heat in the April 1999 issue of The
Guide. I appreciate your kind words about my editing. So often
the editor is overlooked.

Enjoyed Havana, Loves Cubans
I would like to thank The Guide for all the hours of informative reading it has provided me with over the years. I have taken advantage of
many of your travel tips and have on the whole been very satisfied. Never so much as this year, though. This year I went to Cuba. Having seen
your ad for Havana Calls, I booked a two week stay. Although I've been to Varadero numerous times and had taken day trips to Havana, I
never realized the true extent of what Havana has to offer.
I would also like to thank the staff of Havana Calls for working with me on such a friendly and personal level. I stayed at a very
comfortable guest house, and the guide assigned to me was good company. Together we had a enjoyable time.
Cubans are the nicest people I have met thus far in my travels. I hope to return many times in years to come.

Shit Fan Finds Solace
I thought that I had seen and heard everything.
I thought that I had a problem but since reading your information ["Exploring Coprophilia,"], I will now wear the brown hanky with pride.

Wants to Cover Gay Chile
Being an airline employee for over 15 years I have been around many countries, and always in need of informative magazines, travel
books, etc. I think your magazine is extremely interesting, but would like to see more of Latin America. I can be your reporter for Chile! Gay life
here is becoming day by day very active, so you would find it very interesting to come down here. Delighted to be part of your "floating" staff.

Santiago, Chile
Thanks, Joe. We don't have plans to visit gay Chile, but perhaps our new web site will afford an opportunity for "reader reports."
Cuban Hot for Mag
A friend has told me many great things about your magazine, so many that I'm dying to lay my hands on any issue.
Unfortunately we are so far (in so many respects) that it's quite impossible for me to subscribe in a normal way. So, is there any
way around that? Could I get if only a single issue (the one you deem "best")? Can you help me? Please let me now using this e-mail address or
by snail mail.

You get a magazine if your free international MaleBox ad is printed, so maybe you'd like to consider placing one of those; or you can
visit www.guidemag. com for much of our content. But since you asked so nicely, we'll send you one just this once, though. **
