US drug giant Bristol-Myers Squibb said on this month that the Food and Drug Administration has approved a once-daily tablet of its HIV treatment Sustiva. Currently the drug must be
taken in the form of three 200-milligram tablets daily. The New York-based company said the 600-milligram tablet will make it easier for HIV patients to comply with their drug regimens. The
600-mg tablet will be available late this month in one-month supplies of 30 per bottle. The 200-mg version will continue to be offered for those who prefer it.
