How to order
Among the handful of female drectors working in gay male porn, Fay Dubois may be the
most talented.
Pepe's Place is the work of a person who likes men and loves men's bodies. Trained
as an editor, she knows how to build a sex scene, and how to infuse the sex with warmth
and sensuality. She's also adept at casting. The predominantly Latino models she assembles
here seem utterly turned on by one another, and move from gentle to rough to ecstatic and
back to gentle in apparent real time, without missing a beat. The sex is peppered with
bilingual
hot talk-- "Stick your face in my ass,"
"Chupa mi culo!" Rocco, a compact, golden-skinned bottom, anchors the
action; as the protagonist, a blocked artist, he appears in two of three episodes that make
the first half sizzle.
We first see Rocco grappling happily with handsome Victor Rios all over a bed.
Right after they climax, the phone rings. A concerned friend, aware that the artist is
unprepared for the one-man show he's scheduled to present at a local gallery, urges Rocco
to check out
a mysterious operation called Pepe's Place. "You'll get exactly what you need to
inspire you," the friend insists. When Rocco arrives there, he's drawn into sex with
Pepe, the exquisite proprietor (Gil Cortez), who provides exactly what most gay men would
need to inspire them,
and more. But then Pepe gives Rocco a pile of magic newspapers, and the video starts to get
silly. There are, however, two more well-directed sex scenes: a duo that ends with Kai Cruz
blasting spooge into his own face while being fucked by B.J. Bratt, and a rimming-intensive
three-way.
