All-American blond Billy Brandt, a quasi-straight model whose appearance in Falcon's Absolute Arid (1999) made him an instant star, has had a troubled career since parting company with Falcon Studios. Falling afoul of substance abuse for a time, he wound up doing half-hearted work in low-end productions. In the fall of 2003, he was nearly killed when, driving at night in his native Missouri, he swerved to avoid hitting a deer and was thrown thirty feet as his car flipped over. Now fully recovered except for a neck injury causing chronic pain, Brandt has bulked up, acquired a few new tattoos, and embarked on a comeback.

Attempting a new image as a funky, bad-assed top guy, this formerly twinkish golden boy turned to the right director. Paul Barresi is skilled at handling bi and straight models, and excels at staging sweaty, masculine sex. But for reasons hard to decipher, the teaming of Brandt and Barresi doesn't click. Despite the title, Brandt just appears in the first and weakest of these four daddy-porn loops. The segment begins well, with Brandt ferociously fucking David Griffin in a jail cell, but the action is underdeveloped, and Brandt's cumshot (evidently someone else's stuntwork) appears as a digitally superimposed keyhole insert.

The rest of this video, one of Barresi's simple, straightforward black-box productions, is worth watching. There's a hot pas de deux between Park Wiley and Dillon Press, and a dream three-way that turns into a wide-awake rutting session for bald, beefy Tom Moore and pig-boy Lexx Parker. Handsome, bearded David Griffin, a former Mr. Leather Colorado, is a welcome presence; maybe next time he'll be given a more interesting, more responsive sex partner.
